The Butlers The Michigan Men

These guys are members of the Carpenters Crew (TM) - they're carved and woodburned from real carpenter pencils. The pencils I use are unpainted cedar. I also do a lot of Santas, but the good ones are gone.

The Butlers remind me of a couple of formal English butlers; I have other Crew members that are the Lord of the manor - dressed in tweed and ready to spend an afternoon golfing, hunting, or just "beating the bounds" of the estate.

The Michigan Men represent a couple of old timers - the Football Player when real men only wore leather helmets - and only when the coach made them. The other character is a Cheerleader - back when Michigan only had male cheerleaders (we're a lot smarter now!)
