The Celtic Knot

This is a double interlaced Celtic knot. Follow the red or green strand and you'll end up back where you started.

This is a simple example of the highly evolved Celtic knotwork that was common at one time in Europe, especially in Ireland, Scotland and England. Some the best examples are found in the Book of Kells at Trinity College, Dublin.
