Wel­come to the fifth issue in the 20th year of Wood­carv­er Online Mag­a­zine.  This year has been fly­ing by, and as always, there is nev­er enough time to carv­er as much as you might like.  Before you know it, the Christ­mas sea­son will be upon us, and with that, the annu­al WOM San­ta (and Friends) Gallery.  We need lots of pho­tos for the gallery, so be sure to check out the Call For Pho­tos arti­cle in this issue.

CCA 2016 National Caricature Carving Competition

1st Place, Group Human  2016 CCA Car­i­ca­ture Carv­ing Competition

Each year in August the Car­i­ca­ture Carvers of Amer­i­ca spon­sor the Nation­al Car­i­ca­ture Carv­ing Com­pe­ti­tion,  Judg­ing takes place at the home of the East­ern Wood­land Carvers Club in Con­verse IN. We are pleased to once again present a pho­to gallery of the Com­pe­ti­tion win­ners.  As always, pho­to gal­leries in WOM include large scale pho­tos of the win­ners so that you can get a close-up view of the work.
