Hello carving friends -

Well, I came in from raking leaves to finish up this issue of WOM, so Halloween and Thanksgiving can't far away. Artistry in Wood and the annual trip to Dayton is only a few weeks distance. It's always a trip I enjoy, as much for the opportunity to catch up with old friends as to see some great carvings in a well-managed show.

The Annual WOM Santa Gallery will be coming up in the next issue, so it's time to send in photos of your favorite recent carvings. See the announcement in this issue.
