This issue also contains a replay of the announcement of the Second WOM Mail-in Carving Contest. For this contest, you can carve anything you want, as long as it fits in an Altoids Mint tin. Carvings must be postmarked by October 24 and delivered to my PO box by November 1, so you still have lots of time to carve and ship.

Due Dates Extended! The postmark date for contest submissions has been extended seven days only, until October 30, 2010. There will be no further extension beyond this date!

Prize Update: Prizes now include a $50 gift certerficate from Fox Chapel Publishing, and annual subscriptions/renewals from Woodcarving Illustrated and Carving Magazine.
