A wolf has been released in the Forgotten Forest at the Saginaw, MI Children's Zoo. This full-size wolf, however, will harm no one; it is the result of more the 240 hours of volunteer labor by members of the Tri-City Carvers Club. The wolf continues the tradition of significant contributions to the Zoo by members of the club, whose previous efforts included a full-size carousel and massive totem pole.
The thirty-five pound wolf was carved in basswood, finished in tan, gray, brown and black paint and then coated with an epoxy seal coat.
