Hello, I am a novice carver that started the New England Woodcarver Roundup along with my husband George and Friend Jack. I started the NEWR after going to the Evart Roundup, talking to Sandy and her advise: "Have it, they will come."

As for carving I prefer Alpine Relief and chip carving; yes this is a form of carving although some say not. Also do a little woodburning when I have time - like at the Fall Carve In in September when I do get to carve. I belong to the Lancaster Carving Club, York Carving Club and the Cherry Ridge Carvers. I have taken workshops with Nick Sciortino and Herlen Ibost.
