Hello carving friends -

As I write this, outside my window is one of the few really comfortable days we've had here in southeast Michigan all summer (not to mention the rest of North America. There is just a hint of cool northern air, a reminder that fall is not far off, and with it the fall carving shows. The next issue of WOM will include a photo gallery of the winners at Artistry in Wood 2012. It's one of the issues I look forward to working on, because of the quality of the carvings and photography.
